So, my computer is finally fixed! Yay! I just gotta reload all my programs. Boo!

Packaged Bliss is currently down because my hosting has expired. Mmmm, Daria and I are working on that... it will just take a few days for my PayPal transfer to go through and get the monies. The timing really stinks since my computer DIED and I am not sure where the heck my last back up of the site is on disk. BLEH. Ah well... maybe its an excuse to do a new layout. lol.

*head desk*

I am once again without a computer. Four weeks for the repair.

Office under renovation so with all the peoples coming in and out... it is highly unlikely I will be finding time to come on during office hours either for anything more than a few minutes.

I would make a remark about wishing things would get back to normal... but going on the 4 month mark without regular computer access seems to imply that this IS the normal. *CRIES*

So, last night bill made a really big deal about how we are not celebrating Valentine's. Then, I come home today from bringing our son to First Reconciliation and... there are a trail of flowers leading from the back door to the bedroom where a few bouquets waited. <3 Along with a really cheesy poem that contained an over abundance of V words. lol

In general though, my hubby has been a little annoying lately. I really wanted to do a pretty Valentine's doll. BUT, bill has been a jerk about me being on the computer. You would think I was 12 the way he yells at me if I go on for more than an hour or two a week. THANKFULLY, he is supposed to go back to a different shift at work in a week so... I can go back to my highly addictive and apparently unproductive (in his opinion) time on the computer.

I promised i wouldn't embarrass a certain someone, so I shall just end my journal here. You know who you are, love! <3 *edits OMG, sees 's journal.... i did love you for making me my awesome AV. But I am not sure how I feel about your entry, you dork!

I LOVE bases of all sorts.

"My doll sucks" GOD, i hate when people say that. Take it all as a learning experience. I rather doubt anyone is just awesome without practice.

THE WITCH HUNT (aka public accusations before due course)
I have been franked. Oh yes, I have. And, did I go all off and started ranting in every public place available to me? NO. I deal with it privately. And, in every case, the person apologized and took the stolen work down.

The whining and THE DRAMA in general. Everyone in our community seems to have a gripe about EVERYTHING. (Even me as evidenced by this very list. LOL). You know you know what i mean. >>

AND four things you like about the community:

My friends. I have met some people who i have known and held onto for YEARS. People i can talk to about NON dolling stuffage in my life. <3 They are made of awesome and win.

The people who inspire me and challenge me to be better than I would otherwise be alone. Some people have really pushed me to my limit and others have constantly given me advice to improve. AND THAT is what an artistic community should be about. <3

The looking. Oh, yes, i LOVE seeing what everyone else has done...oh yummy goodness.

The growth and changes in our community. Base credits were often overlooked. Respect for copyright was almost non-existent, etc.

Catching Up
For those of you who don't know, my computer completely died last month. Oh yes. I wanted to cry. I still have no idea what i managed to salvage and what has been lost forever. Thankfully my loving husband ran out and got me a new PC like 2 days later.

We had a week straight of insane snow storms prior to Christmas...followed by a day of 62 degree weather where the insanely high snow piles all melted into a giant muddy mess. (I kid you not, at my parent's home, the snow was taller than I was).

Christmas is rather anti-climatic for me, as MOST everyone in my family just gives out cash. LOL.
I did however get the new PC and a new coat... Bill is suffering under the delusion that if I have a *warm* coat, it will get me to go out sledding with him and the kids. Uhm, yeah, honey I will have the hot chocolate waiting for you when you get back. >> Still not sure what I will be buying with my Christmas funds though. :/

New Years Eve
On New Years Eve, the family went out to a festival. The weather was back down to about 20 and the snow was back on the ground. The festival was set up in local downtown businesses providing shows to entertain~but you spend about half of your time out in the elements walking from destination to destination or killing time. We managed to see a Celtic band, a magic show and watched fireworks in the snow. Watching fireworks in the snow is AWESOME!

Atm, i am totally envying my husband's time off from work...i got one day for New Years.
